Rescue ships out of Libya

A Royal Navy ship has succeeded in helping British citizens leave Libya as the country descends into worsening violence. The HMS Enterprise arrived in Malta, helping 110 people escape. The Foreign Office closed its embassy in Tripoli last week and urged Britons to get out. The rival factions in Libya are fighting harder and hundreds have been killed in recent weeks. Fighting between militias–one which is backed by the outgoing parliament and the other by the defense ministry-has spread all the way north to the capital in the last few days.
