I hadn’t realized this happened earlier in the summer, but it is definitely worth relaying. A man living in Hail, Saudi Arabia decided to do something simple yet quite intelligent to feed those in need around his neighborhood. The way he did it would spare them the shame of begging for the food. The man, wishing to remain anonymous, installed a refrigerator on the street in front of his house and invited his neighbors to donate their extra food so that the poor could benefit. Sheikh Mohammad Al Araifi praised the act on Twitter with a picture of the fridge, giving the anonymous do-gooder a bit of international attention. This is a great act of charity, and one which could inspire the wealthy in the region to act on behalf of their poorer compatriots.
